On June 25, 2025, Noriaki Inami, Representative Director of Astraporta Inc., had an audience with His Excellency T.Y.T Tun Seri Setia (Dr) Haji Mohd Ali bin Mohd Rustam at the Royal Palace in Malacca and discussed the lunar data transportation project.
During the meeting, we explained the “lunar data transportation” project that our company is promoting, and an agreement was reached on a grand initiative to digitize photos of Malacca’s World Heritage sites and transport them to the moon.
His Excellency mentioned the deep history of exchange between Malacca and Japan, which has continued for hundreds of years, and expressed great pleasure that Malacca’s cultural heritage would be delivered to space as data. This project is a symbol connecting the long history of friendship between both countries to the future and represents a new form of cultural diplomacy that Malacca will broadcast to the world.
